TWO DROPS OF OIL RUINED THEIR FRIENDSHIP…

This a story of four guys of engineering college which started in 1^st year of engineering.
Day one of college is like, everyone unknown, total strangers, everyone trying to make introduction with each other, so did Sham that day. He sat on the middle bench in 1^st row, with Parag whom he already met at the entrance gate.They started chit chatting knowing each other more. The two guys behind them also joined them. One of the two guys was Sudama, an enjoyable person to begin with. So Sham and Sudama got introduced like this.

                As the weeks progressed everybody began to know each other, Sham and Sudama were both placed in the same practical batch, so their friendship flourished, so did Shambhu and Suhas. So these people got close to each other and became good friends. They began to know each other, helped each other in need, did submissions together and did lots of fun together. They were constantly in touch with each other even in holidays.

           Sham was a shy guy, looked thin and had specks. Sudama was fit than Sham but still thin. Shambhu was the tallest of them with his height reaching up to mars. And the last one that is Suhas was shortest of all and fair.

From total strangers, they became a gang and treated each other as their brothers. By the time the first year of their engineering got over still the remaining class was stranger to them,  but as the saying goes it takes time to make something nice.  Apart from the academics, the gift from the first year of engineering to Sham was the friendship of these guys Sudama, Shambhu and Suhas. He was the happiest person, sad part being that he failed in maths. He got into depression because of it, thankfully his friends consoled him.

With each passing day their friendship became stronger. They did many pranks with each other, made fun of each other, fought and again patched up. They ate tiffin together, mostly ate that persons tiffin who brought tasty food on that day. They also did short outings whenever time permitted. Ate street food once in a while and at the time of paying the bill no one would come forward.

Now 1^st year of engineering ended and fortunately all the four survived and got promoted to the second year of engineering. Engineering is never easy you know! Unfortunately Sham got transferred to the second batch of the practical and the other three remained in first batch. This meant that the gang can’t be together during college hours and practical. Still their friendship remained intact but the contact seemed to be little lost with Sham. They still managed to make some time for each other from the busy schedule of engineering.

 Sham was sad about the batch change but accepted it as he had no option. As due to change of batch the circle of friends slightly shifted of all the guys, especially with Sham it changed as he alone had his batch changed.

                So Sham begun living with new friends, got new tastes but his heart was always for the three guys. He loved them a lot. The other three however got slightly busier and were drifting away from him. Though from outside it doesn’t seem like this but Sham could feel it from within. Thus from total strangers they became such close friends.

                During the 6^th semester of the engineering things began to change. The 3 guys except Sham got new friends. As they got new ones they automatically got farther from Sham. Once during submission of the 6^th semester the unexpected thing happened, Sham needed to draw some drawings on the sheet. He needed reference so began searching for it. He got reference with Sudama, he borrowed sheet from Sudama to click pictures. He took another guy for help to hold the sheet steady. Unfortunately out of misfortune the sheet got placed on a class bench. The bench had oil on it and it stained the sheet. Another guy ran away. Sham panicked and handed over the sheet to Sudama and moved to another classroom. Soon Sudama got to know about this stuff. Sudama came furiously towards Sham and started scolding him, abusing him in front of whole class. Sham patiently listened for some time but then he also can’t resist and both started fighting. The fight increased and whole class came towards them to see what happened, the matter increased and then Sham had to redraw the stained sheet. Soon submissions got over. Sham forgot all the stuff and moved on. He thought Sudama had also forgotten, but little did he knew that Sudama had such anger in his mind. Sham tried talking to Sudama but Sudama didn’t talk once.

                So till date they are not talking just because of the two drops of oil…..

Guys such things happen in life, but you have to move on. Don’t let your ego overcome your friendship, friendship can’t survive if you have ego in mind. Sham still craves for the same old friendship with Sudama and still prays for the things to be normal again.
