Existence of god

Sham was very hungry since morning. He didn’t eat much during lunch as he and his team had deadline to complete their work until evening. At last he completed his work late in the evening. All the team felt relieved. One person stood up and said it’s time for celebration. So, they decided to for outing in the evening to the nearby pub. Sham straight went home and began getting ready for the party. His granny asked him where he is up to. He said the plans they did for the night in the office. His granny straight away said no to him, the reason being that he cannot eat non-veg on that day. He asked her why! she replied that it’s our ritual that we cannot eat meat on Mondays and you know it very well. He was in real dilemma now; on one side he was too excited for the party and on the other side there was granny and the rituals. First, he tried to argue with her that it’s the modern age and the rituals are very old fashioned and everyone does that, bla bla bla. but granny was very firm and finally Sham decided to give in. He assured granny that he will eat vegetarian and that she should let him go. Granny took promise from him for the same and let him go.
Sham went to party, did whatever he wanted knowing well that he is lying. Enjoyed a lot and returned home. Nothing really happened because of eating meat and taking liquor. But what impacted was he didn’t fear god anymore. He exactly knew nothing happens...
Friends while we are growing from child to an adult, at every stage we have different people whom we fear in our lives.
when we are a child, we fear nothing, but our parents induce their fear in us. That prevents us from harming ourselves and others. Like when you stand on edge of a balcony while playing, your mom shouts at you to go off that balcony as you may fell and hurt yourself. So when next time you go to the balcony you maintain a safe distance, this happens not because you fear of falling from the balcony  or because you are scared of heights, you do it because you fear your mom, that mom may shout or hit you when you go to the edge of the balcony.
As you grow up you go to school and you are little bit matured. So, the new person emerges in your life. It’s your teacher. Teacher teaches you many things and scolds and punishes you for your wrong doing. Thus, you get new person in your life to be afraid of. Likewise, because of this fear you are maintained on a right track and safe.
When further you grow up, your fear towards your parents and teachers decreases. Now you are at puberty and you fear nothing. Mostly at this age you start behaving errant because of the sudden freedom you get. This is the age where you get a taste of failures. Now you develop fear of failures. An age comes when you overcome your failures. Now the question arises whom will you fear. Everything is overcome.
The answer is god. From childhood we are taught that he is seeing everything, how you behave, how you act. He means god. So, the fear of god remains in us lifetime, which lets us think twice before taking any wrong decision. This fear makes us a noble person and world a better place to live in.
